taste good<3

i don't know why cooking seemed like such a chore when i was with kev. it seemed like making anything took forever and ever, and then the food was snapped up in an instant.
this morning, i woke up at 9:30, showered, started cooking at ten, and made:
-rice
-delicious cucumber/meat dish
-baked potatoes w/cheese
-tasty small fish
-eggs
all by 11! and i could put away almost all of it and have granola soy milk for breakfast. and now i'm all set for two days.
why did we always insist on putting everything? everything pasta, everything red sauce, everything fancy fried rice. it doesn't even taste better, it tastes like everything got mixed into one giant "the everything taste" and all of those chopped onions and herbs and veggies whatever are just wasted. and so much time!
tomorrow i think i will make broccoli the puo-puo way. <3 and over the weekend i want to go to ranch and get lots of delicious meat w/bones (and cartilage) and weird fatty stuff like pig's feet because now that kev's in taiwan i can eat whatever i want without worrying that he'll starve to death from picky-eater's malnutrition^^
(if he manages to do that in taiwan then he deserves it)
in other news, field work was lovely. kids are so sunny (:
edit: oh i also need to go somewhere and have 된장찌개. because this is killing me.
