ehehehe I'm probably the only idiot who goes out running with her dog at noon. At least I didn't go smack in the heat waves of midafternoon...
So! this morning, the Adela found herself wide awake for no apparent reason and turning about in bed fitfully, which she had been doing for the past 15 minutes without realizing it.
She looked at the clock: 5 AM.
Then she looked outside, at the beautiful red-orange rays of dawn just breaking, and thought to herself: Hey, this is absolute perfect weather for running Rice...
So, she peered down at the doggie bed, whereupon Rice uncurled himself from his tight little knot just enough to lift his head and blink sleepily at her, cocking one ear.
And she looked at herself and saw the pajamas, the blanket, the pillows, the giant stuffed squishy lion, the sheets... the BED, for god's sake.
... and thought nah, then slumped back onto the pillow.
Yes. That is why I ended up running at 12:15 instead. T__T so sweaty.
My dog is so fat and lazy that he slows ME down now. I have to slow down or DRAG him forcibly, which really isn't an option because that slows me down too.
Aiiiii shower now.
1257 edit: Fraaaaaaack... rehearsal at 1:30 means in half an hour, doesn't it. AHHHHH NO TIME EEK *rushes off*
*gonk*
1719 edit: So guess what I did to myself today!

Aren't I brilliant. It made my intonation off all through rehearsal. Of course, that image is about... 4 hours later, since I didn't take camera to rehearsal with me, and I heal really fast, so before it was more like...

hehehe. Basically, I was holding my music folder while I biked, then I stopped at the rack to retrieve my lock and biked off with folder AND lock (to park next to the PAL center, which is more convenient), and I would have been fine only my stupid bike is cheap and has no kickstand, AND the gear abruptly shifted to 1 and I was like ahhhhhh! *step on air* so I twisted to snap it back to gear 2 (but remember, my hands are full T__T) and in the process slammed off the bike coz it's one of those really light bikes? yeah.
It wasn't really bad at all, actually. I didn't notice until I was locking up the bike next to the PAL, and then I was like O__O;; there's blood all over my hand! So I went freaking people out for a while by greeting them with that hand and being like "Hey~ I almost killed myself on my way here today!" and enjoying their reactions. yeah but then I was getting blood on the cello (I had to carry it ALL the way over from the music building ><) and that was terrible, even if it's a crappy school cello, so I went and washed it off.
