Ouchies. My right hip joint and left knee joint hurts! Yay. I feel unbalanced.
THIS is because today Aoki did what she said she would do and gave us our rightful punishment of 2 miles. >> When asked, she said it was an Asian thing (that the whole class is punished for something one person did). And it is, kinda. We were like "but this is America!" and she was like "pffft well I am Japanese and I am your teacher!"
It was funny, and anyways, it wasn't too bad. Held back since I saw no sense in sprinting practice miles and killing myself... got 16:30. And actually wasn't really winded at all. o.O Weird. Sweaty and icky, though.
I let Jason lap me. Once. Near the end. T_T if I'd only run a little faster he wouldn't've been able to... Stupid fast kid. Nyaaaa~
Then we had the Bio test. Didn't study at all, did relatively okay, had a sub... Then copied down info from a transparency and since I sat in back I went in front and knelt to write them and it hurt my knees T_T, but that was temporary and it passed. Also while up in the front Jeff Chu wanted to know my mile score and when I told him he winced and started swearing. ^^ -feels smug- He was 4 mins slower.
And Redwood! Never been to the place before in my life. Hung around at the music room looking for Boitz, and then Verson stuck her head out and asked if we knew Timothy Wang and Dorothy and I went "....never heard of him." Then later we realized she meant Thomas. Who was outside. So we called him in and Verson was like "Oh, Thomas, you can ride with me to Redwood because Boitz isn't here...." yada yada.... and I was like "O.o Yay! Can I ride with you too?"
So that problem was solved. Hung out around the music building... played a bit of piano in the first practice room whilst Mega watched, bored, and then hated that piano and made Thomas move over (well he was leaving anyways) and claimed the third practice room and played there. I officially declare that I dislike the school pianos. I actually like the second room's best, 'cept it was taken.
Redwood! The kiddies are so... small. And chibi cellos. XD So cute! Hah.
I had no idea what I was doing. I suck at tuning, y'know. But following my philosophy, I acted professional and pretended confidence like I knew exactly what I was doing, and the kiddies looked at me with eyes of worship. And it made me laugh really hard inside, because really, I didn't know what I was doing at all...
Some of the cellos were REALLLLY out of tune, and I had to ditch the fine tuners and then when I turned the knob it was stuck and when it finally turned it wouldn't stay and if I let go it'd start spinning and go ultra-flat, and it was very annoying and I spent forever on that cello feeling rather stupid inside, and then I'd turn and see the little kid watching me so carefully because she thought I was so advanced and awesome and I had a strong impulse to burst out laughing...
Anyways, I might suck, but they were worse. And I definitely improved on their tune, comparatively at least....
Mm. Was the only cellist there. But they had only 4 cellos anyways, so 'twas all right. Eee I love the chibi cellos! ^^ Hahaha~
