-looks down- Well, I've certainly condensed the day very much... I've not enough time to write down all the details, just the more interesting ones.

More orchestraness today. Much fun. Today was more practicing than yesterday; no campfires, no smores (;_; these were SOOOO good.), no Saratoga Springs. But was still fun. Got there early in the morn and messed around on the piano a bit. Then did full orch practice, split into sectionals, full orch again.

Next was "Meet the Violins." They already did "Meet the Cellos" (and Basses) yesterday... our special question was our fantasy job. The violinist's special question was "What would you do on a date with Fred Hwang?"

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA -falls over laughing- Fred's a Senior cellist, by the way. There were a number of evasive answers, but some made me laugh so hard I almost dropped my cello. Somebody said they would run away, another person would get sick (rofl), Risa said she'd make Fred buy her a car, Mr. Boitz would first make Fred wash his car, then clean his house, and... yeah... Jeff went last (of the violinists. 2 pianists went after him). People started laughing just when he stood up. And his answer was that they would first stroll down the beach into the sunset, then go back to his place and drink some moldy wine, and then he'd get Fred somewhat drunk and... "check out his system."

Well, that set the entire orchestra in an uproar, and I didn't really hear what the pianists said. ==''

Then lunch. We were to take care of that on our own. Some people brought lunches and stayed at the quad. I had a bagel, but restaurant food sounded tempting, and I ended up tagging along with many to Chipostles.

Many were going, and few could drive. Well actually, I guess some of the others could've droven too (Austin?), except they didn't drive here this morn so their car wasn't handy? Anyways, the Seniors drove us. Scott got 6 people packed into his car =='' I was supposed to ride with... someone... Chris? Can't remember xX but his car was pretty full, so I got shooed over to Jeff's. Fred drove off all by himself because he had to go buy something else first -.-

At a traffic-jammy area had a sort of... race... against... um, Scott, methinks. Everyone behaved very immaturely. ^^

Then I borrowed $6 off Jeff and got tacos! Chipostles is good. Never heard of it before. This lady behind the counter didn't know Jeff, didn't know any of us, and for absolutely no reason at all she bought Jeff's food for him and let him get off free (well, of course, he being the money tree, he paid for certain other people's meals and now we owe him money...). oO She must've been the boss-lady or summit. And in a good mood.

Drove back... Scott ditched Grace and Kimberly so they came with us this time. Jeff got suddenly serious halfway through (kind of. He said "Okay, I'm going to be serious now...") and then he was like "All frosh must be told this" and told us not to get led on the wrong path. Like no drugs, smoking, that crap, and we were like "Sure, professor Jeff." (in a mocking tone) and then he said "and use condoms!" And any "seriousness" we had completely died and we all (including him) burst out laughing, and he was like "Wait! I meant it!" and the conversation went... weird. Grace wanted to know why he didn't just tell us to abstain, and he started going off about how if you SAY you abstain and you don't, you end up having unsafe sex and how you should just always be prepared for the possibility so IN CASE it happens you are 100% safe. I asked him if he expected people to carry condoms around in their pockets all the time. Then the convo degenerated into how wallets + pockets = bad places and how latex melts in the heat and... yeah. ==''

Ohmigosh Chipostles is gooood. Did I mention that already? Well, it is. Much better than my bagel.

After that was more practice. Full orch sight-read a piece for 30 mins, split into sectionals again, practiced, rejoined aft. a while, and moved everything (stands, cellos, music and all) into the library for the "informance." Informal performance that's not a performance, because the pieces aren't even close to performing level, but lets the parents see what we do in orchestra and how we're doing so far. Practiced some more in lib before Informance actually started.

When it did, Adv. Orch. did two pieces. The second piece Boitz first made them play through with absolutely no dynamics at all. Then he added dynamics, and the change was... it was just... completely diff. =='' Then the full orch got together and we played the first 2 pgs of Fantasia + the piece we just sight-read. Then was clean-up time, and after that everyone tromped off to a pot-luck dinner. (Yes, at 4 pm) It was almost completely composed of Asian food. =='' Almost the entire orchestra is Asian. The entire cello section is, at any rate, and the rest is... mostly Asian... yeah...

Came home after that.

Fffft. I want to go to Tap Ex. Seniors said something 'bout going there tonight. I think the ones going to the streetdance are going (and possibly giving people rides there!). But I'mza not going to the streetdance. ;_; Pearl milk tea~

Wheee~ I'm in a much better mood today than I was last night. Now that I'm no longer tired and grouchy, maybe I ought to record the happenings of Friday. But it's not like anybody really cares about my school life except me... and I've hw to do. Mm. Guess not, then.

Edit: Sigh. Fantasia keeps playing over and over in my head, in an echoey form...
