OMGSQUEE~

The dogs. The dogs. They are unbearably cute and furry and sweet and when I see them I want to loffe all over them only I can't, they're on the screen, so I content myself coming home and ruffling all up our little puppy (rice the puppy, not puppy the cat) who's very confused and surprised but happy at all the attention all the same and. squee~

The screenplay was crap. All the characters were flat, I detested all of them except the dog trainer and maybe mildly the pilot girl, and even so it really irritated me when they kept jumping back to scenes of the dog trainer travelling all over to get ahold of a plane and get back to his dogs because he was SO worried and-- I drowned. in massive pools of cheese and corn. ><

They had too many scene jumps back to the humans, the scenes lasted way too long - the majority of the humans are dorks anyway and no one cares about them, and all in all they should've had more on the dogs.

But. the dogs made up for it.

Maya, Max, Shorty, Dewey, Truman, Jack, Shadow, Buck... I love them all. x3

Jack died. It was v. sad. He was too old to break free of the chain. Also, Dewey (or was it Truman?) fell/rolled down a hill and eventually died too. :(

But the rest survived!

They were in Antarctica, so they claimed. in the winter. And of course, each scene is perfectly bright and there is sunlight, which made no sense, but I'll overlook that.

The dogs also behaved overly well-trained and obedient to be *true* sled dogs, but that doesn't make me love them any less. Just. screw the storyline already. ^^;

Hunh. Now I pay back for daring to go out and spend my time on such idle entertainment as MOVIES...

hup, cello, it is. And piano. but dinner first. ^^;
