my period is never on time!! does this mean i'm just really unhealthy or something? do i lack production of estrogen? ok i'm sure none of you needed to know that but, i wonder about it from time to time~~

honestly i don't even feel worried at this point (i still remember the first time something like this happened and i FLIPPED OUT and was sure i was pregnant and got so mad at kev) because it was finals week not so long ago and stress destroys my menstrual cycle... but still!!

i guess if it doesn't come in another couple weeks, after all this good south bay food and plentiful sleep, then i should start worrying.

I don't think I've ever had a regular period in my life (which results in a lot of annoying guesswork and quite a few embarrassing "OH SHIT" moments.) And yeah, I have no idea why either, and I've also had some "shit, am I pregnant?" moments too... >_>;;

In undergrad, at one point when I was getting a checkup to get my birth control refilled (which was progesterone-only because I get migraines so estrogen could potentially increase my risk of stroke, but that meant my periods were even MORE irregular than ever) I was chatting with the doctor about that, and she told me about this one student who never had a period for the entire school year (September to May), and then only after her stress decreased for the summer would her uterus kick back into gear. Scary shit. XD;;; (Kind of convenient, though, now that I think of it...)

i don't really have regular periods either. i asked my doctor and she said anything between 3-6 weeks is "regular" and unless something ridiculous (like a period every other week four times in a row) occurs, to not worry.
