College

College stuff is so tiresome. Planning everything out takes forever, and it's setting me back on Nano too.

I've changed my mind. I think I will go in for a Chinese major because

1. I was planning to study at NTU anyway
2. I can literally wrap up the entire major with one class this coming semester and a year well-spent in Taiwan

sooooo why not?

Meanwhile, I can take the overlapping CS minor/major prereqs and if I have enough spare units, I can always turn the CS minor into a major later on. And if I don't, it leaves me with a ton of units to invest in Korean, music, philosophy, CW, Japanese, yadda yadda yadda. I can do whatever I want!

And as for what I want to do when I graduate, you ask?

AHAHA.

No, I'm still doing the dentistry thing, but I just thought I'd point out that I'm doing the lame major to get to take more fun classes thing too. Japanese major with a chem minor.

Haha, so you say. At least I still have a general direction? My online friend [Bad username or site: laenavesse title=Laena @ livejournal.com] majored in English because it was easier and then graduated having no idea what to do. She wants to go business school/law school now o_O

I admit, I am fairly biased. Both my parents were English majors and one was a successful computer engineer and the other is still a successful loan officer! My sister was an English major too, and now she's going to be a Chinese doctor. o___O I guess my brother's the only semi-normal one in the family.

My parents majored in engineering and wound up as engineers >.> Dad was pretty upset about the Japanese major thing because he was convinced it'd ruin my chances of dental school.
