I am somewhat skeptical of BNFs bidding away their fanfic, even if the $$ does end up going to charity.
Somehow it just feels wrong.
Then again, hacking into a Wii is technically wrong too, but that particular practice has never bothered me much.
Maybe I'm just prejudiced because I don't like Cassandra Cla(i)re's writing.
(edit: to clarify, this isn't about Cassie Clare, but the person in question is associated with her in my mind)
