a lot of what he says just clicks. you know. more than what steve says.
maybe it's because we're closer in age, so we're at a more similar point in life
On an unrelated point, I decided today that I can never be a full-time blogger. At least, not emulating these role-models of mine. I've written the bullshit for eHow (and made money while it lasted), I've tried out fancier articles for Squidoo, I tried to convert my personal experiences into one a few days earlier, and you know what? It just isn't interesting. I don't like it. I don't like telling people how to do things or synthesizing what I've learned into lists. It's too practical. It bores me. It's not fun. I asked myself, "If I couldn't make money from this, would I do it out of my own free will?" and the answer was "Hell no."
What I do want to write is stories. I love stories, all stories, fairy tales of any shape and any size and even as I say that it is a little bit of a white lie because I love fantastical stories, I love the wild and the unimaginable and real life is okay but, I don't know, maybe I am a little bit escapist after all...
