there's a baby spider dangling in the middle of my room.

I can only see it from an angle.

It's kind of mesmerizing to watch the way it twists its legs up as it climbs....

You know what, I've been getting lazier with editing posts... because I changed the layout so it doesn't link to my journal format, so I'd be at a post, and when I want to add an edit I go *scrolldown* out of habit except the edit icon is up at the top, so then I end up going to new journal entry when I scroll up again just, um, because.

Yah random observation. :D

So! Allergies are beginning to come back, ever stronger than before, but compared to before the storm? it still is at a somewhat bearable level.

I feel so relaxed. I have nothing to do all the time, because yesss the recital is over. And unlike the audition, this time I don't have another recital hanging over me still so I can REALLY slack off a bit on practicing without my conscience guilttripping me like mad. And now that the recital's over, orchestra music seems so easy. XD I'm actually not, y'know, airing it and letting adv. orch do all the work! Unlike usual.

We're playing a Tribute to John Williams. medley piece. Includes Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Harry Potter, Jaws, and ET music. Pretty cool as an orchestra piece, but the celloes have like. no parts. It's almost like a bass part! Yeah.

Mmm also I can finish Geom during Precalc, and Precalc during Geom... nothing to do for Jap or Orch or Geog (no one does the textbook readings evar), and I finish Bio during Bio, and get a lot of English done in English (and during Bio). All except the stuff that needs to be typed on the computer. So no hw! In essence. Just a bit of English.

And I don't really have much to do at all and I can chill and have so much free time and life is happy and.... somehow I end up going to bed ever later than before. XD;;

Spend a lot of time puzzling out things in front of piano, though. Maybe that's why.

Right, I'm also practicing biking home with no hands/one hand! Just for um selfentertainment value. ^^; Can't do it vice versa, though. home->school is ALL uphill.

Yeah I'm v. good at it now, only I never know where to put my hands because I inconveniently never have jacket pockets. And crossing them makes me feel ridiculously showoffy (good thing there aren't many cars on Glen Brae). But it's probably a useful skill to have, if I ever need to say, take something out or put something away? while biking? Or take off my jacket. Hm I can probably call people while biking or pick up the phone too. but I think that's against the law...

I should take the dog out for a walk. He needs it.
