Phew... so much work..
Jun. 19th, 2005 08:41 amBeen busy translating... I'm almost slightly regretting joining #BWYS - Earthy is quite demanding. (Once he discovered that I translate super-fast, he sent me TWELVE chapters at once... --;;) But I like what I'm translating, so that's all good...
Thinking about getting a paypal account. Did a short search online to see if anyone would PAY for Eng-Chinese or Chinese-Eng translator, and discovered that someone would pay $50 for translating a measly little paragraph. It's for an official thing or whatever, and they didn't want to use an online translator. I don't blame them. Online ones are almost always inaccurate. But still! I mean, it's a measly little paragraph. Even if they bluff and refuse to pay afterwards, it's still just a measly little paragraph... I mean, it's not that much work. And if I actually take on a job, I can force them to pay me $25 down payment first...
Elizabeth's actually working at some summer camp place so she can buy her laptop. I'm too lazy for something like that. And I'm not really saving up for anything. (If I really wanted money, I can go demand my allowance from my mom -- she's forgotten to pay me for a year -- but money from parents isn't really earning money...) Just thinking about it because Adam suggested me to.
Anyways, I still have the 12 chapters of Xxxholic to do, so, eh, I should probably go do it now. Oh, and Selene finally checked her email so there's a chapter of Alice 19th too... at least it's not AGF. AGF chapters are HORRENDOUSLY long.
