OKOK so, picking up where I left off... I. will type up the stories later. If I find them. Anyway, skipping over that for now.

Oh, in vague explanation of the watermelon story, if it makes no sense to you guys, halfway through the writing of the story they began to show Mr. and Mrs. Smith (the movie) on the miniscule TV in the bus. So that's where that came from. And the Dust Cup... Emily was reading Grapes of Wrath. Dust Bowl anyone? XD And yeah. The bus also showed Mean Girls. Pretty funny movie.

We had another stop for dinner before we got there. Went to Starbucks w/my roomies and Tiffany, except halfway through she ran away flailing because she'd lost $80 or so and was panicking her head off. (She found it in her luggage eventually.)

Anyway, more hours of sitting in a cramped bus, eventually we reach the hotel. And it has AWESOME BALCONIES. I swear, it is so easy to balcony jump. If we had had those hotel rooms in Australia, it would have been so easy to get away after room check. You don't even have to go through the hallways. Just climb the balconies.

So basically, if you would imagine, on the same floor, a setup much like:

__|__|__|__|__|__|__|__ ... etc.

__ being the extended balcony part and | being a fence. As in, for the balconies each hotel room it isn't

|__| |__| |__| |__|

but instead all connected! You see how easy to jump.

And then, from a bird's eye view, the balconies look something like:

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Basically they're in this curved/wavy pattern. And if you have a curved section like:
/\_/\_/ for example, the balcony on the floor BELOW would be
\_/\_/\ So, as you can see, it alternates. Which means, as they are shaped much like a letter S, you can easily climb down the ) part because the floor below will provide a ( part as a perfect landing place! Same applies to climbing up. I never tried climbing up from one floor to another, but I did manage to go down. And also from 2nd floor to ground floor and then back up again, but I dunno if it would work from 2nd floor to 3rd floor because I had to stand on this rock to get back up. Still, I suspect it might be easier, because the balcony railing is actually higher than my rock was.
Went out on the balconies, balcony jumped across (because Lilith dared me to =X) and scared some freshmen >>;; called home etc. Directly below us were freshmen guys, diagonally below us were Austin and Thomas and... Franklin? (the swimmers come late), and right next to us (on the non-freshmen side)... there was a giant double-room suite that was either empty or had occupants pointedly ignoring us. Couldn't tell which.
There was then a lovely pizza party held downstairs. They only had soda and water for drinks. I was very disappointed. The pizza wasn't bad, I was sort of distracted half the time by this freshman cello I knew, because he was sitting all by himself at a table in the farthest corner (and let me tell you, those are big, round tables that seat MANY people), and at first I thought he was sitting with other people who were just getting food or something, but eventually it became apparent that there wasn't anyone else.
So I was going to ask if he wanted to come sit at our table (which was just me, roommates, and Lilith pretty much), but then Wooho went over and started talking to him, so I didn't. I talked to Wooho instead! Afterwards I mean. He declined Wooho's offer to go sit at his table. He also declined my offer (I probably should'n't've offered anyway _o_). So Wooho, Sean, and I sat at his table for a while and talked so the table wasn't all lonely. :o TABLES NEED PEOPLE. ESPECIALLY BIG WHITE ROUND TABLES SET OUT FOR PARTIES. They aren't meant to be empty and lonesome with only one dejected child sitting like he's emo in the corner!!!
Turns out his fellow freshmen cast him out? Not enough seats or something. That happens, I suppose. STUPID FRESHMEN. Have they no etiquette? You're supposed to pull over an extra seat if that happens! That way, the table YOU'RE sitting at will be happier. And you won't end up waking up an entire other table only to have it realize it is miserable and lonesome within the midst of all the other merry tables with only ONE PERSON sitting at it. DDDDDD: That's just RUDE, okay. Sheesh.
Anyway, eventually he zombie-walked back to his room, and he was all right the next day so that was that. Spent the night, well, exploring balcony stuff like I said before, mostly in Wooho and Sean's room, and then played cards with them (and a bunch of other people that arrived at the last minute) a little bit before curfew time and then we all rushed back to our rooms, perfect little angels. :)
mmmmm more later.
I can't believe I haven't gotten past one day. x____X Oh well I suppose I started on Wed night, so it is technically a day...?
