wheeeeee.
So Tri-M concert thing today. Originally wasn't going to go because, Harker, but then I found out that it's taking place literally half a block down my street so. Rather pointless to be stewing at home when I can just walk 2 minutes to it. --;; It took care of much of our excess Halloween candy.
Many many people were there. I'll upload a picture or three when I find my camera. Harker MS people might recognize Thomas, yes? He visited Harker today too! Coz I asked if he wanted to come. Of course a bit irrational because I'm biking, but I kind of forgot about that; anyway today it turns out his dad takes him @ 2. Didn't see much of him though, because
kyouten and I went down to Blackford. Old teachers! Culbertson invited us in, where a bunch of little middle schoolers were listening to another little middle schooler give a ppt presentation, and guess what was in the background? A QANTAS FLIGHT AIRPLANE!!! Aussie heckyeah XD
Keilty left. :( Both him and Eagen are now replaced with people I don't know. Sensei and Kadam and Merrill and Schmidt and a lot of others, though, are the same as ever. Didn't get to talk much with any of them. They went off to a spirit assembly, and in light of all the noisy tumbling uniformed MSers (highly reminiscent of ourselves), we decided to leave.
Harker library is totally reformed, now. They don't have the gajillion rows of computers any longer, because everyone has a laptop. And even the old library COUNTER has changed. So strange. I still walk down Shah hall and automatically name off in my head: Nassery, Zetterquist, Eagen, Hewitt, Kadam, Merrill, White etc, but none of the nameplates match anymore. The names are ALL strange. Gives me a strange sense of loss.
Well, DDRed afterschool with people a while-- saw tunaboy (in bright purple and being v. intimate with a certain entity in the shadows XD;) and obviously keropi, and rather unexpectedly, Daniel Paik, Tiffany, and Daphne. I TOTALLY forgot they went to Harker. --;; SJYS peeps. Also Janet + Natasha, and a few old Harker friends. Saw a number of familiar faces who've been around since elementary school, but by GOD people change a lot. I have to stop and stare a few moments before my mind factors in all the telltale similarities and fits the new image against the old. 'course, there are people who never change, such as Andrew Stanek. Nate and the Mandell brothers look the same too. And Daniel Tien.
Haha Thomas dropped by but refused to DDR and left again. Then in the other room there was Ouran + anime club, which I'm really not v. fanatical about, and then I had to leave! wheee. bike back in time for piano lesson, yes? I am such a bad girl. I told parents I was at the library, working on a project. >>;; because if I told them I was going to Harker they'd be like NO TOO FAR SARATOGA AVE UNSAFE EEEE we'll have to send you! And then they won't send me and I will be forbidden from going.
Also, forsook piano practise and homework and nanovel, but whatever. three day weekend! I will be procrastination queen. mmmm.
Can't forsake cello practice, though. Should go do in a bit.
