Haha, yesterday's concert... brought back so many memories... Joint concert w/Lynbrook and Los Altos, right, and Los Altos... they not only played Concerto Grosso, they also played Bailes para Orquestra AND Brookgreen suite... and. DAMNZZZZ AUSTRALIA MEMORIES~~~ T__T

They weren't even close to our standards last year, of course, which made it even sadder, and then the people I turned to, I realized half of them never went to Australia. And the other half that went to Australia with me, they're GONE. GONE GONE GONE GONE wahhhhhhhhh. butbut. ZOMG CONCERTO GROSSO. I was always starting up mini-recitals of that piece backstage with Tiffany. Coz people would be lazing out and many would be practicing, because we are all v. diligent yes, except I would get bored and give up and randomly start playing Concerto Grosso (because the beginning is so easy to remember and so... Iunno, explosive!), and Tiffany would be like ahahaha! *joins in w/violin* and we'd have a mini Concerto Grosso duet going on, while other practicing violins/violas notice and they're like ahahaha! *joins in* (because Concerto Grosso is so easily memorized) and then by the time there's a small group it's pretty prominent and all the nearby people start joining in until the entire orchestra is playing a mini Concerto Grosso concert backstage. Except w/very few celloes, because most of the celloes aren't practising. Actually usually just me. --;; but stiiiiiiiiiiilll.

AND BAILES. OHMYGOSH the dueling violins... I remember Mr. Boitz stationed Jamie and Dorothy on oppositesides of the stage, and we played that and Concerto Grosso too in the Sydney Opera House, andandand... you know Dorothy was my ROOMMATE. So she was always practicing that piece in our room, because she was the second of the duet, you know, until I went crazyyyyy and was driven out of the room. Seriously. I was driven from the room. I would go hide out next door etc, with Yang and Tiffany. >>;; but what the hellll it paid off. She and Jamie were REALLY GOOD. Los Altos, comparatively, was almost laughable. They're like a stark contrast from Lynbrook, which is entirely Asian. They're mostly white. And I don't mean to be racist, but it seriously makes a difference. There are only v. v. few Asians, and harhar guess where they're sitting! Up in front. The cello section makes me sad. The principal was the ONLY one playing, really. You could take out the rest of the celloes and leave the principal and it would sound the same, pretty much. haha ironically enough he was the only Asian cello, too. =.=;; and NO I swear to god I am not being racist. Anybody who watched their concert at all would completely agree with me.

haha Brookgreen was from last year. Dr. Francisco. ughhhhhhh. When he would make us sightread random crap instead of actually rehearsing anything useful, it was always Brookgreen. mmmm.

Not v. many people went to BJs. Anastasia, Byron, and some, but a LOT just went straight home. I reallyyyyyy miss the seniors. JEFF LEE CAME BACK! He and Anastasia had a touching reunion... haha but no Vicky, or percussion. =/ Anyway I was horribly horribly nostalgic for Australia and. god, I wish there were a way to revisit the past...

In any case, NaNoWriMo! Is taking over, yes. the Fwoom stayed up past 2 last night working on it! Sadly, the Fwoom has only achieved 3.6k words over the course of 2.5 days (the Fwoom started late). The Fwoom is about 7% done, then?

The Fwoom is neglecting homework and a lot of other stuff. >>;; oh well.

:D :D :D NANOWRIMO ftw!

And that is the entire POINT of NaNo, where life ceases to matter, where all that matters is your goddamn WORD COUNT.
