chu_totoroMy cousins are funny people. They cheer me up. :D
AND IT RAINED. FOR ABOUT TWO MINUTES. I thought I was hallucinating because I ran out five minutes later and it was sun and blue sky and DRY GROUND and no, y'know, sign of rain, but then I asked my mom and my dad and the random people who were here and they confirmed it. RAIN. Well that just went FWOOOOOM and cleared all unhappy thoughts away, y'know. It's RAIN.
That said, now that I've practiced lots and finished classes and done most of the chores, I shall write up sleepover summary!
So movie.
Kevin got there before us, so both Mel and I were busy scanning the people outside AMC 14, mental processes (span of ~6 seconds) going like: Huh old people... where is he? Damn I only see that tall dude there... wait girl? no right guy... hm ticket people... ew smoker no... hey wait that tall guy's wearing gray and black, OH WAIT THOSE GLASSES... "KEVIIIIIIIIN!!! *waves madly through window*"
Ahahaha Kev's hair is longer than Melody's now. XD
Melody got a giant Icee that I would've shared, only the movie caught me unawares so I stole only a bit during trailers. Next time I thought to look (an hour later) it was dead empty, save a thin layer of disturbingly pink liquid on the bottom.
We ended up totally not bringing any of our stuff to the sleepover because of a minor miscommunication (we left it all in my garage! woe~) until 7! When the almighty Tiffany came by and saved us from our doom. Plenty of bunnies, DDR, SC3, SC, and Cranium (which had this really disgusting purple clay that had to be scrubbed off with soap and wouldn't mold properly and caused us to lose most rounds of sculptorades). Had pasta and pizza while watching Pom Poko, this really cute Miyazaki film about raccoons.
Helped Keropi do dishes afterwards and whoa the BUBBLES!! I love handwashing pots just so I can stick in detergent and then watch the water fill it up all bubbly like a BUBBLE BATH. ehehehehehe.
Rather lame game of 10 fingers, then mass hyperactivity as Melody and I snapped into our most hyper (i.e. most awake) time of day and started singing. Rather badly. Mostly she was singing the King of New York over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over again. _ _;; Sometime in this all there was lots of pillowsmushing, mindless cracking up, ridiculous storytelling, and random discussions.
"But he wouldn't taste good. He's too thin. All skin and bone."
"We need to fatten Delly Jonut up more!"
"Ew fat. Fat's BAD."
"But fat tastes good! mmm"
"I second that!"
"You can fry him better if there's more fat!"
"No you just add OIL stupid."
"Especially since he's not wearing pants.*"
"...that made no sense."
"... *cracks up*"
*period of paused conversation as a chain reaction of laughter breaks out*
"I don't think Adela really wants to see Delnut frying without pants on."
"Well you can't fry him WITH pants on."
"I don't think Adela wants to see him NAKED in a frying pan either."
"Ewww no if you're going to cook him, throw him in a pot of boiling water that I can't see or something."
"But that will taste bad! So bland."
"Heyy I have an idea how about like a gigantic steam oven?"
"What about his clothes?"
"Just leave them on!"
"They'll burn!"
"So burn them!"
"... if you burn them he'll burn too!"
"Well then we'll have a burnt Delly Jonut!"
*everyone bursts out laughing and roll around pounding the bed, which creaks dangerously*
... etc etc.
*joke from earlier session of crazy storytelling round robin (kinda) in which Melody ended up being unfortunately squished on the bottom of a gigantic orgy in the middle of a hospital involving just about everyone from the chatgroup and Louis licking the blood from Delmar's thighs which he unfortunately bloodied with shards of his broken pervert sunglasses and Eliza being a magical dragonriding nurse with a whip. :D
Oh, I'm sorry Delmar, you have become the victim of many, many, many jokes because Eliza started the round robin and OF COURSE then it went something like "Adela is walking down the street one day when a guy falls on her foot."
XD;;
Mel and I retreated out eventually when the others were asleep and talked for an hour or so more before bed. I was startled awake sometime in the night and this crazyloud TCHHHHR sound nearly gave me a heart attack and it turns out it was the bunnies. See so you look over and see the bunny standing there quite innocently, and then all of a sudden it goes ZOOOOM around the cage in a great circle and in a blink it's back again, frozen in position, and the sound was the bunny snapping across the tarp.
... one bunny KEPT DOING THAT. over and over and over. Drove me crazy. not to mention rattling the cage.
Didn't do much in the morning. We were all sleepy.
Went home, was helping mom clean up stuff and had not one but MANY very unpleasant moments with dad that drove me up the tree, especially how after *ANGER* and *ACCUSATION* and *DEATHLY GLARES* and we go off in opposite directions he'll abruptly be normal the next time he talks to me and does so perfectly cheerily so I can only swallow any indignation and that would be okay if stuff like that didn't KEEP happening repeatedly and JUST when I've managed to mostly forgive and forget the last flare and just. RAH. but none of that now. I am also totally bitching due to lack of sleep, so I'll shut up and tomorrow will be better. :D And it's not bugging me unduly now, except if I rant about it I might work myself into anger which is totally retarded, so. Zip.
Mmm that was fun. Time for real work now. Finally got ahold of all the available audition fingerings that Kim gave to various students with lots of phone calls and faxing and xeroxing between parties and YUCK. audition music so hard. T__T and piano will be back soon, and guzheng will not but she left me so much work I should probably start on it, and I need to go now to cook or else I won't have any dinner _ _;; so off I am. fweee~
