WHEEEEE DOWNPOUR~~~~~
Whereas yesterday put me into a gloomy mood (when it was all cloudy and cold with an occasionally almost-drizzle), I feel inexorably elated today now that it's really raining. And it's not cold anymore. I mean, it is cold temperature-wise, probably moreso than yesterday, but it doesn't FEEL cold anymore. Not to me, in any case. ... am I just weird like that...?
Hahahaaaa REJOICE! REJOICE! Dance in the rain!
It made me late to school this morning, even though I left on time - giant traffic jam. There goes the Jap grade~
All the classes were shortened today because the STD assembly people came to our school, too! Hah they put on a play. I say they're very good actors. Some guys in my class disagree, but most of them are dorks. I'm so glad they cut into period 3. Less Geometry is always good.
Oh haha we took a quiz today. I thought it was a handout so I put it away when I finished and started working on hw and stuff, and didn't realize it was a quiz until the end of the period. _ _; (I didn't "cheat" though!)
Lunch naturally couldn't be eaten in the quad, so we moved to the music room! I don't get what's up with Tiff. I suggested just to go to one of the practice rooms, so we went over there and I was going to settle in the first practice room! Except! Tiff said "there are many backpacks here: this room must be taken." .... It doesn't WORK like that. The room was empty. >> Anyways, we moved on to room 2. Fred Huang was coming out of the room, and there was a backpack there (but only one!) so I started settling in that room, but you know what all three of them were like Ahhhh what if he comes back and kicks us out this is HIS room.
... wtf?! Like he'd care. Practice rooms are public (and most people ignore backpacks). But all of them were so INTIMIDATED and Tiff dragged us across to a room that's not really a practice room and it felt wrong to be in there (like it's somewhere we're not supposed to be) and eventually Erica voiced that so we ended up moving out and eating on the STAIRS.
I say we should've just taken the effin' practice room. Fred wasn't even using it. He was OUTSIDE.
Oh well, whatever. Tiff had a gigantic bagel and she insisted upon giving me half, and since I don't eat lunch purely out of laziness (too lazy to pack it in the morning) and not because I'm anorexic, I accepted. It would've been rude to refuse, anyways, since she would've gotten in trouble with her mom.
Mmf. Tiff laughed at me for not knowing FF music and made me listen to it on her iPod. And whaddaya know when we were walking around we heard Chris Chin in Boitz's office playing the same song. So we spent much time standing outside the door with me listening, Tiff controlling the iPod BUT not hearing it, and I gave her verbal instructions and we tried to match up the iPod music to Chris. It actually matched for a brief period of time, but then Chris either messed up or did something else and it got off, and from there it just got more and more and more off....
We did indoor soccer again today. Christina was sent to another team, but we got Alex Yan instead, so 'sall good. ... it was very violent. People kept VICIOUSLY kickbouncing it off me. Painful. ><
Me//Jason//Alex played offense for a time, until Aoki sensei got mad at us and said only TWO offense three defense, so Alex changed to defense but was still playing offense really ('cept not allowed past the halfway line), and the other two girls on defense stood and talked.
Heh well Aoki sensei got annoyed and she forced us to switch on the last game, so that the two stand-and-talkers were forced to be offense, and the three of us defense. So the game became us trying to score halfway across the court without passing the stupid line, and the end score was still 0:0. _ _; ... well really what did she expect?
Power outage in Biology. Remember mRNA tRNA cDNA guys? We're doing that again. I finished the whole worksheet, spent much time telling Sean to go away I'm not letting you copy my worksheet, and that concluded the period.
Borrowed Jenn's phone and called dad, since it'd be a bit of an overkill to walk home in rain like this and get severely scolded. Sad. Most people don't seem to see that you're not really wet when you're in the rain - never mind if you're already thoroughly soaked, even, it's only wet when you LEAVE the rain and go somewhere dry. So there wouldn't be a problem if I walked home and immediately showered. But I'd get in trouble for getting the house wet, I suppose. And my books, too. Mmf.
Haha my dad commented on that. He was like "... you walked slowly to the car... everyone else was scurrying like rats. You're like Adam..."
I mean, what happens if you run? Wow, you run into more rain! Does it really matter that much? And getting wet really isn't a big issue, 'less you're sick. But then I guess some people just naturally mind it, and others don't...
Hehe guess what he said next?
"... Adam always used to walk slowly through rain if there were girls watching."
HAHAHAHAHA okay that concludes my post for the day...
