I thought about it, and decided that if I'm going to spend 30 days cultivating a habit it better be a damn good one. And while my earlier idea was decent, I don't think it's that useful in the long run because a) positive thinking might work, but a blog post doesn't allow me to actually change the past even if I dig out all the most positive aspects of it, thus b) it's kind of lame to only bolster thinking in the five minutes every night it takes me to write a post and c) what I've found most helpful from these posts haven't been related to the seeking of positive events, at all! In fact, what I've found most helpful are the list of things I've been putting off. So I'm going to scrap the old trial and start a new thirty-day trial that goes like this:
1. I will maintain a list of things-to-do that I've been putting off and update it every night.
2. When I update this list, every night, I will also single out a few items that I plan on getting done the next day.
3. I will do this for 30 days even if halfway through I change my mind about its efficacy.
So at the moment, my list of things I've been putting off is:
find exact-o-knife
glue keytops
return clothes
make a budget
make car cds!!
call company to pay for tuition
yay!
