2012 first lines

Included the title thanks to my habit of carrying over titles into the text. Aaaand in a nutshell...

January: I want to see / I want to see the beauty in the world. I want to see the rain falling from the sky and love it.

February: Goodness gracious me / What a long day! I was elated to discover in my graphic design class that the cool Paris metro entrances we observed are not just cool metro entrances, but are entrances intentionally designed by Hector Guimard, then I realized that the ones we saw probably weren't the ones designed by him.

-- I forgot I took a graphic design class! yee

March: You know, / I don't think white people are that different from us, on Friday nights. They like to dance around and drink, and we like to eat food and play games. At the end of the day, we're just each doing what we like best, no?

April: today / I don't feel free.

May: one night / I came downstairs, and found D playing Tetris Battle. The study was chock-full of people studying for finals, a haphazard array of laptops, people sitting, lying down, curled up on the couch with big fluffy blankets or sleeping with their heads in their arms.

July: eek / Now I know why I couldn't find any blogs/information about this program online when I was searching for it last year. I'M SO BUSY. SO. BUSY.

August: song spam / I. hate. Adele. with a passion.

September: it hurts / why won't these dreams go away?
