THE BET
It is December 14th. There are 17 days left in the month. From now until the start of year 2009, I shall aim for HYPERPRODUCTIVITY, terms of which stated below.
THE TERMS
-one hour of cello practise each day*, 40 minutes of which should be continuous
-one hour of piano practise each day, 40 minutes of which should be continuous
-one hour (at least) of guzheng practise a week*
-completion* and submission of all applications by December 25th (discounting music supplements)
-complete cleaning of room up to mother-standards by Monday, December 15th, 11:59:59 PM and maintenance of said level of cleanness for the remaining 16 days
-the bet begins 12:00 AM sharp with the start of December 15th, 2008
-the terms of the bet will remain secret until the bet is either lost (through violation of any of the terms stated above) or won (by which time it should be 2009)
THE STAKES
If I win, I will GO BINGE SHOPPING TO MY HEART'S CONTENT. Or something else. I'll change this if I think of anything better.
If I lose, I will swear off neoguri instant ramen (and any other ramen by nong shim) for the entirety of the year 2009.
*a day is defined as starting from 12:00 AM until 11:59:59 PM, based on Adela's cellphone clock
*a week is defined as monday through sunday, not sunday through saturday
*all applications submitted should be personalized to the college depending on supplements, no cheating

stupid apps. I could've made it if it were just cello/piano/room.
didn't count on the multiple-hour-a-day-celloing for the sake of apps either. I should've made some rule where I could take hours from the previous week to account for the next week.
sooooooo after Dec 25th basically everything else fell into disrepair. shows how strongly motivated I am.
