Jul. 2nd, 2008 03:48 pm... a horde of little kids just came in the door and are stampeding upstais.
STAM. PED. ING. LITERALLY.
this is what happens when you stay at youth hostels. xD;
Lake District: much prettier. v. scenic and (duh) filled with lakes. seems like it could be a part of China, save for the fact that the place is overflowing with sheep. left right up down ahead behind sheep everywhere! and the sheep look very, very English.
Lake District - Grasmere: rural-ish area. Wordsworth's cottage supposedly somewhere around, did not see but DID see his grave. Had a chess match vs. my brother and tied at 1/1. Very pretty and grassy.
Lake District - Kenswick (sp?): more people. lots of sheep, lots of ducks. bro went biking and mom went hiking, I went walking and took a cruise and explored bookstores and was generally happy.
in other news, they found my luggage. the bag was hopelessly broken. and I have 48s of internet time left aaaaaah.
the HP series here is VERY BRIGHT. looks very kiddish.
wheee going now.
