Feb. 22nd, 2007 12:35 pmaiyaaa self-pity is despicable. especially when you know you're in the wrong and they're in the right.
That said, does it make it any better to know the crime for a crime and do it anyway? --; although it's kind of bizarre to classify reading as a crime.
wheee my petty little excuses for indulging in Robin Hobb. xD;; OKOK so if book > eating and book > sleeping and book > computer, if book then < instruments, then instruments are > eating + sleeping + computer? don't think so. :D Although, it'd be funny if they actually expected that. No they'd just tell me I have my priorities wrong in the first place. :o whatever.
I totally forget what a pain it is to be home all the time, sometimes. --;; And I think I have every instrument class at least three times this week. _o_ stooooooooopid.
Anyyyyyyway, I find myself totally not liking the main character's love interest at all, i.e. this girl named Molly, or rather not not liking her but just not caring about her, and that really puts a damper on the whole story. I keep wishing he'd abandon her. Or the other way around. And it keeps seemingly happening, but then they get back together again, and now she bears his child and I don't think he's ever got a chance of going away and getting a new girl. Pity. Personally I think the Liveship trilogy is much better. The characters in this one are sometimes... eh, dunno. maybe it's because it's in first person. And lots of things are so retardedly predictable, and Fitz is always a step behind. It drives me nuts. >__>
