Jun. 21st, 2006 09:16 pmAh-h-h-h-h-h finished reading One Hundred Years of Solitude and it wraps up just as crazily as it begun. Love that book. ♥♥♥ Can't believe it isn't on the recommended reading list.
I am starting on Notes From Underground. The first lines caught my attention: "I am a sick man...I am a wicked man. An unattractive man. I think my liver hurts."
XD right about there I was all "hmm, this book sounds interesting."

kyouten came over today and we watched Ice Age 2 with my dad. It was absolutely hilarious. Scrat and acorn heaven ahahahahahah~
We also watched Miyavi and Ouran, IMed people, asked about SC, looked at yearbooks, and talked about a multitude of random things. That said, Keropi, Melody agrees that you totally look like Jiji in your KG/5th grade pictures. No denying it. XDDD
As to gathering, my house *could* be open but eh, no way to feed you guys, and dad (though he'll agree to anything if I insist) doesn't like the idea of 5+ persons AND! I somehow doubt as to everyone being able to maintain a nonviolent state. XD;; People will be like "Oh it's fine, we can totally do this," and five minutes later BAM *something* will happen.
(Also, I can consult no one online about it wtf coz you're all playing SC. >>;;)
Yes. If mom were home, she'd be all for it (she was all for it before actually - "去人家家多麻烦,来我们家吗...") and she'd take care of all the details and everything, but, sadly, she is not. And dad is good for nothing. XD;
Okay, okay, overstatement, but regarding these type of situations. Precisely why I'm supposed to stay home? But he is v. helpful in other ways. Example!
Me: *shows dad booklist* You have any idea if we've got The Picture of Dorian Grey?
Dad: Ooooh creepy one. Hm, we might, we might not.
Me: *hands list to dad* See right here. Sutton gave this to me.
Dad: Ah. I'll take a look for you.
20 minutes later...
Dad: *comes into my room with a huge pile of 15-20 books*
Me: O___O
Dad: Here's some books on your booklist I thought you'd like! And just some good books in general~
Yayyyyyy. ^^
(yeah see, our two best book sources now are garage + the shelf in dad's room. I plan to ransack them over summer! XD)
