Well. today went something along the lines of:

wake up -> shower -> cello -> breakfast -> cello -> lunch -> cello until the moment we leave -> leave -> arrive at audition place -> find practice room -> cello until audition -> audition

==;; I don't think I've ever practiced so much in my life.

Anyway, audition went okay. A few screw-up-and-replays... mussed up the triplet section by starting off too hasty and setting an overfast tempo which resulted in the entire thing being sloppy, but aside from that, decent. The sight-reading piece was the. uh. forgot what it was called. but it's the music they always use for the chase scenes in Tom and Jerry. c-d-e-f-g-f#-g-e-d-e-f-g- ... etc. Straight eighths.

Dunno how I did, but I probably made it. I mean, it's not even seating, it's just entrance. Although this will probably help for later impressions unto seating (and I don't know if they hold separate seating auditions at all) and such. If I failed, I will be saaad. :(

Hm there's still time to go to maybe. 10 minutes of the dance rehearsal. Don't think I will. Our dance is probably over and done with by now...

Whee Berkeley tonight. ^^d yay me.

1719 edit: Been reading Sphere. Michael Crichton. _ _;; he has a knack for these mildly horrifying scenes filled with blood and gore and death (well, Jurassic Park author) that just leave me with this ".... ugh... *horror*" afterfeel. but not half as severe as Stephen King. ... not even close.
