Everyone suddenly decided to follow through with the meme for some reason, so my superpost went briefly on pause. And now the meme shall spread through their LJs... like a virus....

Superpost status... reached the Talent Show so far. It might or might not be longer than the previous superpost. I can probably finish it today if I work hard enough... but I also want to go through it and edit somewhat. My previous superpost also needs to undergo some serious editing, and when I have done that... well, I was planning to repost it, but I don't want to lose all the comments so I'll probably end up editing the old post and re-dating it....

I still can't remember what activity I did on drag day. It's driving me nuts. I know I did the same thing as Tiff... but she's not being helpful at all. -sigh- Oh well.

My dad has also given me 3 days (well, now that 1 day has passed, it'd be 2 days) to cut down on my computer usage. So I'll have to try to finish my third superpost in that time as well. I don't know how much it'd be cut down to, but I am spending the majority of the day (not counting classes) on the computer. But if you take out all the time I spend working on my superposts (basically morning to afternoon 'til roughly after dinner when other people start coming on... not counting all the times I leave in between for classes or lunch or Jamba Juice or whatever...) I don't actually spend that much time on the computer. I'm sure I can find something non-computer related to do if I get bored.

Hm. I wonder if my library holds have come yet. I can read those. And if worst comes to worst and I can't find anything non-computer to do, I can go to the library and use a public computer so my parental unit will look in my room, see that my computer is off, and be happy. But I doubt I'll have to resort to that. Plenty of books to read. And my sister wants to watch Two Towers with me. Extended version. XD

Edit: I had to seriously edit over this for Capture the Flag, and I was just going to put it in a new post, but I didn't want to lose all of my comments. So now it's an "edited" old post, but I'll bump up the date as if it were a new post.

I had a random whim to write down more in detail what happened this year in CTY so I don’t forget it... and the more I wrote, the more came to mind, and I ended up with pages upon pages of super-duper-uber-in-depth detailed descriptions. So I did the reasonable thing. I posted it here. =)

The longest LJ entry *ever* )

Switched back and forth between tenses, kept getting sidetracked, too much commentary... but yes, here it is. The first week. The entire 13 pages, in all its glory. Feeling very proud of myself at the moment...

Week 2

Wow. I can’t believe I wrote all of this junk down... A full 16 pages, 21 if in size 12 Times New Roman font. I wonder who will actually read through all of this. I’d hazard a guess to say no one will go further than skimming. Ah, I can reread it in detail months from now and reminisce...

Longer than ‘the longest LJ entry *ever*' )

And that concludes my second week at CTY. Feel free to comment... for people like Mel, if you don’t have much to say on the content... literary critique is always valued. For the people who are LJ-deprived, yes, anonymous comments will be allowed.
