i am a little anxious about choosing project partners for OS but i've had it with sucky partners esp for a big group project so i'm going to. interview them. which makes me really anxious (but really shouldn't) because people don't like being interviewed, in general, and i feel kind of evil for doing so because i know many groups out there just look for coordinated section times and don't even check up on each other for being good fits/good coders. but you know what being in a group with a bad coder or a lazy senior sucks.

in other news, metaphysics is gone forever~! yay! i really couldn't care less >>; i feel like metaphysics is all about the pursuit of truth, you know? and 1) i don't think that's really possible, and 2) i'm perfectly happy perceiving what i perceive, i don't care if in the "absolute reality of the world" things are different because as far as me and my friends are concerned we understand each other just fine

maybe i'm just not cut out to be a philosopher

the east-west friendship analysis class is extremely interesting though. i think this professor thinks more like me. he also has an adorable german accent :3

in other news, my apartment has become addicted to betrayal at house on the hill and can't stop playing! and 小狗, who's visiting, is getting so tired (because we stay up late to play) that he keeps knocking out on the floor and then waking up when something horrendous happens (like when the traitor destroys us) and we all screech in despair

one project partner down!

i felt kind of bad while asking him all sorts of questions - he was a sophomore and i felt like the evil upperclassman quizzing him on stuff (i gave him dad's quick code test too) but he passed! so i have one partner whom i know can code. which is nice.

he came half an hour late because his futon didn't have a dryer?? which wasn't that great but he was really responsive via emails and text so hopefully he won't turn out to be a total flake. i feel like sophomores won't flake. it's the second semester seniors you have to watch out for (ughh 160)

gonna gonna make corn soup later tonight with my chicken stock :3 but first going to musashi w/all my j104 peeps! and then hopefully we can play betrayal at house on the hill again
