Mmmmm ^^
I had a really good day today. ^^ a REALLY good one. For the first time in a long time. *happyhappy*
Well it's not like I haven't had other happy days, but today was more of a... family day. kind of. Diff type of good day, per se?
So I wake up after 9 hours of sleep, regardless (=.=;; I even pulled the shades down in a futile attempt not to...), which was, today, 10 AM! And yeah, v. hungry, and guess what? Gran's been by and she brought food and she not only brought food, it is 婆婆FOOD which is, I can rightfully say, the best in the world (NOTHING beats 婆婆food, ask anyone in the family), and she had 米粉湯, which, of 婆婆food, is one of the better ones COMPARATIVELY soooo. yes. YUM.
Right, and then wandered house randomly for ~30 min and ate more good stuff and then! Amy came home~ =^^=
Well mom took me to that Taiwanese place to trim hair, and YAY my bangs don't poke my eyes all the time now and that makes me happy, aside from that I reread a lot of The Count of Monte Cristo while I was there, and strengthened further my Dumas love.
Cello lesson afterwards, didn't practice at all really, aired it (hadn't even looked at the Feuillard) and did pretty well, considering. Amy curled up on the couch and read, while mom read too I think but also listened and commented and talked to the teacher sometimes. It was a very vocal lesson. Lots of her little stories. Obviously Kim was in a good mood. :D
After that we dropped by Gran's place and 婆婆 and 阿公 joined us and all of us went to Costco and spent a couple of hours there... (Costco is HUGE y'know...) we bought a MULTITUDE of stuff. Totaled up to 200 something bucks. For 3 diff houses, after all. (Ours, gran's, and Amy's in Berkeley.) It was lots of fun, with Amy there. And then we did all the brute work and piled it into the trunk and were quicker and more efficient than we both expected to be and actually got it to all fit. oO;;
Mmmm moved it all into mom's car when we got back, and then instead of going home we went to get Pearl Milk Tea at Ranch99, and after we got it mom went to Totorro bookstore, and she was lounging inside and having a grand time, so Amy went out in the sun with her book and sat and read, and I went to the Totorro mangahouse just around the corner, and lo! The guy behind the counter this time was v. nice and spent the entire time busying himself with the wrappings of this giant stuffed chococat and didn't pay attention to me at all so I could read without fear of being kicked out. See the nasty lady that used to be there would always try and seek me out and be like "You have to pay to read!! Pay or get out!!" (in Chinese, of course) >>;;
Made my way through about half of the first volume of Loveless. In Chinese, yeah, but hey, 'sjust as good. I rather like the series. I like the artwork, really. The storyline hasn't quite made itself clear yet, although I was just beginning to get the idea of Loveless and Beloved?
Well, mom suddenly remembered that she was supposed to go with dad to a polio meeting (all the polio friends gather every so often) and should've left 30 mins ago, so we went home, laughing at her the whole way, because that's SUCH a mom thing to do.
Got home, they left, unloaded stuff...
Mmm Amy went to take care of her fish and I ran Rice for a quick mile and omgwtf so fat and lazy you stupid dog ==;; we need to walk him more... and showered and spent half an hour translating YHT and sent it in and had dinner with Amy at the dinner table (we both put together random bits from the fridge and ate with our eyes glued to books XD zomg no parents to yell at us for reading: she had her borrowed book from kate and I was reading Princess Bride) and yeah! Rice was under the table looking forlorn because he had no dinner and we were eating in his face.
Ehehehe Iunno that might not've sounded as fun as it actually was but eeee. IT WAS. I love my family. ^^
Oh tonight is senior prom isn't it. HAVE FUN ALL MY DEAR SENIOR FRIENDS!!! XDDD And all you juniors who are going coz your S.O. is a senior. ^^ Dunno any soph/frosh going, I think...
Right, and to those of you seniors who dislike dancing and are (the most of you anyway) currently in a HOTEL at FANIME, YOU HAVE FUN TOO!!!! XDDDDD Hm. The same to the rest of my anime obsessed friends, really, regardless of grade level.
Eeee I heart life.
